Grizzly Mountain Ride, April 19th, 2008
Wendy Connell and I got back from our first endurance ride of the year last night, and I’ve posted a blog about the ride (with a few photos too) on the Akhal-Teke Society Blog spot. The short version is that Galen and I did the 25 miler, came in 12th out of 38, and Wendy and Allie (Nez Perce mare) did the 50; their first EVER ride, and came in 26th out of around (I think) 40-50 riders. I might be wrong on the amount of riders in the 50. Both horses vetted great, had a wonderful time and we did too!

June 26th, 2008—We’re getting ready for the Celebrate the Horse expo, at the Puyallup Fairgrounds, in WA over the 4th of July weekend. We’re bringing 4 geldings and possibly one other horse will meet us there. I’ll write it up afterwards and post lots of photos!
